Hi! I'm Josie - a multimedia journalist, storyteller and cowgirl! I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Art in Journalism and Media Production, as well as an additional major in Criminal Justice & Criminology. 

From a young age, I have always been drawn to storytelling, whether through writing or being in front of the camera. With an energetic personality and curiosity about the world around me, I fell in love with the art of storytelling and what makes each person unique. Whether a story is being told on paper or camera, I am passionate about bringing it to life! 

Raised in a western family, the rodeo lifestyle is central to who I am. I travel the country competing as a professional breakaway roper, an experience that has shaped my character, perseverance and drive. When I'm not competing or caring for my horse, Ruby,  you can find me at a coffee shop or spending time with my friends!
