Broadcast

Resume Reel

During my time at Washington State University I was actively involved with the student-run broadcast station, Murrow News 8. This hands on experience allowed me to do live reporting, weather, sports and anchoring in both positions one and two, which are featured in this reel.

Behind the scenes, I produced my own shows, created daily graphics  and conducted interviews for not only my stories but the other producers shows. I learned how the newsroom operates on a day-to-day basis and the aspects that go into producing a show, on and off camera.

In-Depth Feature Story

As my final project for college I created an in-depth feature on one of WSU's star basketball players, Ula Motuga.

This feature story was nominated for and won the 2025 National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences: Northwest Student Production Award for Feature News Report.

    In-Depth Feature Story

As one of four students selected for the WSU Backpack Journalism Program in Nairobi, Kenya, I created a video to showcase a young girl whose livelihood was directly affected by the health and wellness of cattle. With a deadly cattle disease sweeping the countryside, WSU created a program to help the cause.

My written story to go along with this video is located in the article section, "How healthy cows are changing lives and keeping students in school."
